There is a case that happens to me often when I go somewhere, when I'm walking and I pass near a girl usually tend to touch their hair exaggeratedly (I mean exaggeratedly by the fact that they are seen when they touch their hair) and it is not only a girl, but many usually do it next to me.

So my question is what exactly is going on?
