no never stop playing bro if u notice some posture issue specially while sitting down start standing up and playing if u don’t already and adjust ur strap for it to be higher up on your torso rather than upper hip. also try memorizing the fretboard so that u regardless don’t have to look don’t and strain ur back/neck to preform.
how could u even think of quitting such a beautiful instrument man

Yes useless skill but if it helps ur mental keep it and try to monetize it

There are a plethora of reasons you shouldn't quit. For starters studies show that playing music reduces the risk of brain deterioration later on in life (1). Also a lot of women like it. Source:

You should also consider that fretting the strings is really good exercise for hand dexterity and I've personally never gotten a complaint for being good with my hands before.

it's not a hobby at the level of photography, dj'ing, lifting, or making money but it's a solid tier 2/3 hobby. infinitely better than playing video games for ex. idk about posture

Ive been playing it for 1 years now and I just started noticing my neck hurting a little bit but yeah I could never stop I'm actually planing on making music in the near future

I wanna start too but im embarrased about it

I dont know
I dont like revealing my interests to other people, its embarrasing
Thats also why i dont do jiu jitsu or read books
Well when you start something it'll become embarrassing but when you get comfortable with it and eventually you master it you'll not see it like that

It's genuinely amazing playing it but when you learn it gets better but itll become a challenge and that's how you push yourself, just do it far away from anyone if you worry about the noise

You should do jiu-jitsu. I can say with absolute certainty that neither I nor anyone I've ever met has been upset about a new gym member (unless they're an unsafe training partner). Most guys think of new people as a round to rest and work on stuff they don't have quite down yet. No one expects you to be good at first; the majority of people you ask will tell you they didn't really understand the “game” they were playing until 6 months in.

I'm gonna be honest with you, most of the people (the men, at least) who do BJJ are some form or another of nd, and most people would advise you to stay away from jitz girls anyway.
