As for the Bible (or any religious book), many people consider it true not only because of what it says inside, but because of personal experiences, cultural tradition, faith, and historical or theological studies. However, there are also those who interpret it as a set of texts that reflect cultural and spiritual visions of an era, without necessarily seeing it as such a 100% literal document.
